Brian Trent
Brian Trent has 20 years experience as an environmental engineer and consultant as well as working for a large Michigan Utility. His experience has been primarily subsurface investigation, cleanup, property acquisition due diligence, and brownfield development. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from the University of Michigan. I love seeing old industrial properties returned to beneficial use, and that’s even more meaningful when it happens in your own backyard. I remember the first time I drove by the old Federal Screw Works property, when my wife and I were looking for a home in Chelsea in 2012. I thought to myself, what a great brownfield redevelopment property. I am excited to now have the opportunity to work with the MSPA and members of the community that are passionate about bringing that to fruition!
