MSPA Progress
Nearly 3 Acres of Parkland: Main Street Park will offer active recreational space and native habitat restoration.
Community-Driven Design: Every park amenity has been informed by an 8-month public input process.
All-Volunteer Effort: Main Street Park Alliance operates with zero salaries or compensation—every dollar supports the project.
Significant Funding Raised: Over $8 million has already been secured for environmental remediation and park construction.
Major Remediation Underway: We’ve safely removed 9,000 tons of contaminated soil (that’s 191 double gravel train loads!) from the site. This spring an additional 18,000 tons will be removed.
Park Construction Begins in summer 2025: The park is on track to become a reality soon!
